Last shoot of LA LA LAND :)

So today I shot the last scene for the "La La Land" music video.
It was so much fun! The scene was a limo scene on a way to a party -kind of thing :)
It was fun bcs I was a bit glammed up comparing to the other scenes in the video. It's nice to look more party party and have a scene that is not just about attitude :)
My best friend from high school, that is like a sister to me, was in my video too. I felt so bad for not having the time to meet her when I've been in Europe for 2 months so I invited her to be in the video so that we could spend some time together. That was so much fun! I am so damn happy she was there and gave me lots of love and positive energy :)
Then I had some more people that were fun to party with :) So I KNOW that scene will be perfect. The director showed me a bit of it on the camera and I look STUNNING!

I love when KQ get's her face on. It turns me in to a feeling I can't explain. It's like when I have my make up and hair done and I'm about to do something like a video shoot or a performance .. it's like nothing can touch me and my life is complete. It's a nice feeling. I hope everyone in the world will experience or has experienced that more than once. Follow your dreams, because they really do feel amazing when they come true!!!

Christmas all over :p

Awhh I woke up today and I got a package from my best friend Andrew :)
There were cute stuff for my dog in her favorite colors= Pink :)
And he sent me my favorite picture of the two of us (for now, lol) and some other cute things :)
He's such a good guy! I am so lucky to have a friend like Andrew. He really cares and he is so kind and such an honest person.

My mum, me and my brother went shopping and I got a pair of heels :) I'm starting to obsess over shoes lately and these one are really cute!

Also, Super loving my nails right now, the lady did a great job!

Tonight I am polishing the songs that I will record in Stockholm this weekend and also going over contracts and boring things like that. I can't believe I have recorded an album after this weekend. Super cool!

2011 is everyones year, dare to grab it!

Super amazing day :)

Awwwwhhhh I'm such a monster sometimes, I've been in Europe for 2 months and I have not had the energy or the time to meet any friends :/ But TODAY :) I was lucky to hang with some.

I had the best lunch ever with my "sister" Emelie. It was so nice to catch up, but then again it was sad to see the photo album with all the wedding pictures... I'm missing out so much!!!!!

Then I met up with Mirre, she did my make up for the LUV DRUG VIDEO that was released FEB 2010 and I have known her since I was in 7th grade so were tight! It was so nice to catch up and talk some shit and find out the dirt! I tried to find something to spend money on too but as I said before, the stores look like funerals here so It sucks that I can't even buy anything fun .. BOOOOOO!!!

Then I talked to my bestie Sara, were catching up next week and I can't WAAAAIT :)

Me and my mum found some old tapes of me as a child, I will put a little video together for my fans. I was such a crazy monkey! I thought I was scary spice lol and there are some performances of me and my girl group doing Spice Girls. Then there's one of me dancing but I'm shorter than the others so I go get a chair to stand on so everyone can watch me dance LOL ...Cute haha

me-time

So after another long week in Stockholm I was totally burned!!

Went to Poland with my mother to visit family and to take care of myself. It was really nice, I slept as much as I wanted and needed, went to the spa, got a hair cut, fixed my nails. Got new glasses (yes I'm blind), got a pair of hot performance boots from Gino Rossi and found hot fabric that I took to the designer who's gonna make some fun stage clothes for me :)

I spent time with my grandmother, love her so much. That's one thing that is hard on me with living in the states.. I have a huge family in Europe, my mum has 11 siblings and I have a huge amount of cousins and we are all REALLY close. I grew up playing with family members more than with "other kids".. And I really enjoyed being with my grandmother and my aunties and cousins this time. It was interesting how our lives have changed but we are still just as close as 23 years ago.

Now, back in Sweden, back to business. 2 more weeks of work work work in the studio, then back to the states and work work work on the stage :)

Poor dog!!

I came back to my parents house from Stockholm yesterday and went to rest for a little bit around 7 PM, when I opened my eyes it was 4 AM!!  I was sooooo exhausted, I skyped with my best friend and then I fell asleep around 5 AM again and woke up around 11 AM…. dang dang dang :P Someone needed to sleep lol

Today I spent the day un packing and re packing. I'm leaving tonight, going to Poland for a couple days. It should be nice :) I heard there is less snow where I'm going so that should be enough to make me happy. LOL

Also went to the Vet with Roxie today, my little princess is kinda balding :( It's so sad, most  blue mini pinchers have this decease and there is nothing you can do to make them 100% okey, but you can prevent and help your dog from loosing the hair with being careful with what you feed them. So now I have to mix her food with fatty oils, omega 3 and vitamin pills… 

Poor baby :( But she's my baby and I will make sure I take care of her the best I can. And hopefully she won't get bald :( 

Anyways, back to packing again :D

Info about release dates, blah

So yesterday I worked on song #8 and #9 for  my "LA LA LAND" album in a studio outside of Stockholm. It was a lot of fun to re-unite with the producer that produced my song "U make me (lol)" and some other one 2009.

Also had a lil meeting about dates and all that stuff that makes my stomach twist in different directions. My plan is to release the album end of February, now things won't always go my way but I keep my fingers crossed. Worse case, it will release mid March. It's ok, I'll still have the songs way before the release and I will probably do some teaser for all of you that are waiting for it to come out end of Feb, I'm really doing my best and trying hard. What takes time is to get all the songs done from all the producers at the same time and then they have to all be mastered at a different company. It's just things I can't really under control bcs I am "just the artist". But I promise I will perform with the new songs, I won't let you down!

Today I spent my morning at the US embassy to renew my Visa and it went great :) Damn the wait is soooo long !! Well, I'm glad all my papers are good and I can have a safe flight back to my La La Land :)

Blah!!

It's raining today and the snow is just gross and all over the city. I miss my palm trees. I miss my LA...I miss my damn dog that is at my parents house right now. It's just a really grey day today....
One of those days where u feel crazy for what your trying to accomplish in life.. But I can't give up.... .

To my Fans: the emails you write me, the Facebook names u changed to, the tweets.. all of that is so amazing from you!! It makes me want to do this even more, because now I'm in your life. And I will not leave you. I will be there forever. I promise! And I won't let you down with my album!

I have a meeting with the reps in Sweden today, and I hope everything is still on schedule.

Today I went to take photos for my new Visa :) tee-hee, I look like I could be Billy Idols girlfriend in the pictures LOL. oh well, better than my old one where I looked like: Edward Scissorhands. WHY are passport photos so ugly?
And I tried to go shopping.. But everything looks the same, so I'm saving my money for some shopping in Poland (where colors exist).. I swear, the shops here look like funerals... I love black, but let me go find it! Don't put it all over the stores...

Ahhh La la land, I'll be home soon... 19 more days!

Hattrick :-)

So I made a hattrick with Trinity. Another 3 songs nailed down.
Trinity are amazing producers to work with. It's so damn simple, and because of the fact that they know what they are doing, I can relax and just sing and keep on spitting out good lyrics. It's such a difference to work with professional producers.

Today we finished Ice Cold, you guys can find the demo version under my videos on FB, I put it up about two months ago. I re-did the vocals today, damn my voice is so much better now. I don't ever want to go out again because my voice sounds so much better when I stay away from late nights. And bare in mind, I don't even smoke or drink, so my voice is super sensitive.

I'm extremely tired today so I'm happy we wrapped up a bit earlier in the studio, but that's also bcs I nailed the song ;) whohoooo LOL .. I'm gonna go to the movies and watch "the Tourist" by myself and take a break from life for an hour or two :)

I love all of you! Keep on tweeting and messaging me on FB, it feeds me so much.. you have no idea! You guys are so AMAZING! You are my stars!

Dare to shine :-)

Wassup world?!

Just got home from another successful day in the studio. It was so much fun today because I recored a song that will be on a TV commercial for FRIWAY, which is a company that produces healthy products and vitamins. It's really cool because huge sport talents like Therese Alshammar uses these products and I feel honored to be a part of this campaign because I am super interested in sports and things that inspire people to be active. I also think it's cool that when people hear it on the telly they will fall in love with the song and the product and then they will be introduced to my album through it :)

Also finished recording the vocals for the song that was written yesterday. It's called "Your just a number"and it's super hot and raw :)

Tomorrow it's time to re-record "Ice Cold" because the hook after the chorus needs to be catchier. It has to be perfect. And I think I'm re-singing a lot on it because my voice has grown stronger and I think I want to sing it a bit different from the original recording. When I first sang it I was so angry, and I kinda wanna twist the song a little bit to let the lyrics speak but have my voice paint a picture for you.

Ok, time for some paper work.

Punch Punch Punch

Woke up around 7 AM. I am NOT a morning person. But a rockstar got to do what she has to do.

My mum and dad took me to the airport, yes I know I STILL don't have a license. I never had the time when I lived in Sweden or London. And I don't really feel like I wanna have a learn-how-to-drive project for now either, so I'll wait for another 10000 years LOL .

Arrived in Stockholm city, dropped off my bags at the hotel and went to the studio to record with TRINITY. Wrote an amazing song in the studio and the music is so punchy and raw and hot. This song is about a girl who came to LA and totally went down the wrong road. It's really heavy and I can't wait for everyone to hear it. I reviewed the songs I have so far, and I'm REALLY excited for this album. It's gonna be so AH-mazing. It's so damn pro! Makes me feel really really good :-)

I'm at the hotel now, resting for tomorrow and watching Moulin Rouge. I love that movie and the clothes are inspiring. Nicole Kidman looks gorgeous in it too!

Stockholm Calling.

Had a great day.
Went to IKEA to get some lights for my Vanity with my mama. It reminded me about LA, every time she visits me we go to IKEA to get stuff for the house.

I had a great work out at the gym and I met an old friend of mine, we went to school together a long long long time ago. What's funny is, I met her in LA a couple of months ago for the first time in years and now I met her at the gym here in Sweden. She lives in the states as well, she's a professional soccer player, a fighter. I get so inspired when people do what they were born to do. And it was nice to talk to someone that is from Sweden and loves the states as much as I do.

So it's time to pack another bag because I'm going to Stockholm tomorrow to record more songs for my amazing album. I'm really excited to work with Trinity, they are amazing producers and very professional!

Now, it's time for some Thai Food. My favorite food!!!!

GYM = J'Adore

Went to the gym to work of all the amazing holiday food that is totally nasty to keep inside your body. And I Got new sneakers today :) Adidas -> and they are pink :D 

It's so hot with colorful sneakers, especially when the weather is blah. 

Thank you Andrew for sending me fun music last night so I could work out to music that I love; Gaga, Rihanna, Katy, Pink, Niki.. and many more.. Because here they play some Euro trash @ the gym, and it's impossible to work out to. 

Another thing that caught my attention today was how different the gym culture is in LA. I can't really speak for the rest of US, but I must say there is not much body fat on any of the guys that I see at the gym in LA. And people go to the gym for different reasons, no judging here, but I realized that i live in a really healthy city (LA). 

Sure, it's more pressure in LA, but it's much healthier to stay on track and obsess about that than to be over weight. Just an opinion, no judging. Everyone has, as I said, their reasons to go to the gym. 

Anyways, the gym was amazing. I love working out. Not just because I want to look great, also because I get some time to think by myself. And sometimes to not think at all. Gym is a great place for so many reasons.

Day one, Chapter one :)

I started my day with a walk by the beach. The whole sea is FROZEN. My dog and my parents dog Mr.Dixon LOVED the ice, it was all very exciting for them, kinda scary for me lol, you never know how thick the ice really is.

Then I watched the Wizard of OZ with my mother and ate way too much chocolate that I need right now. ugh! But the movie was better than I remember it to be from when I was a child.
I love being here recording and to be able to visit my family, but like Dorothy says;
"There's no place like home"..

I miss LA a lot right now, because I really wanna get back, pack up my bags, make some errands and start my club tour already! But to do that, I have to finish my album, and rest up a little bit from all the crazy work I have done.
I'll be back end of January, and beginning of February I go to NEW YORK!!!! I am SO DAMN EXCITED! I have never been there before... And I LOVE that my work takes me to places I could only dream of traveling to when I was a kid. I can't believe I'm finally going and that I will perform all over!

Ok, Now I'm off to the studio to get this track done. It's called "I don't care" :)
